Announcing The Sound of Music Auditions
Our community comes together
The wait is over for so many people who have asked us (or who have wondered in silence) when they'll get a chance to audition for a part in the most beloved musical ever: The Sound of Music!
It takes a village, or maybe a "ville" - Naperville! - to pull off this large an undertaking. We need your talents to bring this show to life for so many folks waiting to see it.
Our auditions will be held April 24 and 25, but wait, don't just run and bang on our doors. Read all the details first, then sign up on our online form. Do it right away. If any details change - and they often do - we can then contact you and let you know.
We want everybody to show up to try out. Whether you've been in 50 shows or zero shows, you have an equal shot. Show us what ya got, ya never know! We need townsfolk, dinner guests, nuns and nazis along with Maria, Georg and the von Trapp kids.
Read-through starts on May 9, and rehearsals are held 3-4 times a week until opening night July 15. Performances run Fridays and Saturdays in the evening and Sundays in the afternoon until July 31. So it's a commitment, but it's such fun!
