Introducing our "Ghost Stories in the Park...In the Dark" Director, Tahlia Root!

We are so happy to welcome our director of “Ghost Stories in the Park..in the Dark”, Tahlia Root!

Tahlia Root (she/they) is a local actor and director at community theaters around the Chicago suburbs and is very excited to be joining Summer Place for this year’s Ghost Stories in The Park After Dark! From dramaturgical elements to acting theories, Tahlia wholly enjoys the art of storytelling. In fact, they have been involved in these different facets of theater in some capacity since grade school! Currently, Tahlia is finishing up her time in graduate school while pursuing her near-lifelong passion of the arts through community theater. However, in her free time, Tahlia enjoys a good (dry) cappuccino and watching over-the-top shark movies!
