Norton Cast Julie Abud (Co-Producer/Ensemble/Matilda (U/S)) This is Julie's second Summer Place production, having played Mae in last summer's Pajama Game. Some of her past productions include Oklahoma, Cabaret, A Chorus Line, and Kinky Boots. Julie is also a Board member of Summer Place, and recently retired as an English teacher. She resides in Naperville with her husband and three children. She thanks her family and friends who have supported her theatrical pursuits. Danielle Barry (Ensemble). Danielle is ecstatic to be making her Summer Place debut after a six-year break from performing! Other theatrical credits include Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray, Rhonda in Almost, Maine, and Girl Cop/Ensemble in Urinetown. She would like to thank the Chad to her Natalie, Tyler, for all his support. She would also like to thank the cast, crew, and production team of All Shook Up for all the burnin’ love and laughs a girl could ask for! Abigail Brock (Miss Sandra) Abigail Brock is a recent transplant from Oklahoma City. You may have seen her last in Cabaret, or Beauty and the Beast. Some of her other recent credits include Gilligan’s Island: The Musical, Godspell, Bright Star, Heathers and Cabaret. She’d like to thank her friends, family, mentors, and cats for all the love and support throughout the years. Ethan Chan (Ensemble) Ethan Chan loves theatre and getting involved in his community. He has been in a few shows, the most recent of which are Legally Blonde and The Pajama Game. Ethan is passionate about the arts and is very excited to be in this cast. Kailey Christine (Ensemble) This is Kailey's first time at Summer Place Theatre. She was recently Emily Webb in Our Town. Her training is from Paramount School of The Arts. She is studying musical theater and directing. She also writes musicals and loves to sing, dance, and act. Ethan Drover (Dean Hyde) Ethan Drover is excited to be participating in his first show with Summer Place Theatre! After many shows at Plainfield East including Cinderella, Shrek the Musical, and Tuck Everlasting he can’t wait for his first stint into community theater and is so grateful for the wonderful cast and directive team. Autumn Dunn (Lorraine) This is Autumn's first production outside of high school, and her first appearance with Summer Place Theatre! Previously having played Mae Tuck in Tuck Everlasting and Dragon in Shrek at her high school, Autumn is very excited to be able to take the stage in All Shook Up! She dedicates her performance to her family and friends who have always supported her and pushed her to try and keep going, no matter what. Nancy Gallman Witzke (Ensemble) Nancy could not “help fallin’ in love” with All Shook Up, a story full of heart and soul. As part of the ensemble, she feels blessed to bring to life this hand-clappin’, foot-stompin’ musical featuring sidekicks, roustabouts, and dreamers. With a lil’ shimmy and shake, she invites the audience, along with her gifted leaders and castmates, to embrace the “magic” of music, laughter, and love — to celebrate ”letting themselves go” and chasing their dreams. Gwendolyn Gronke (Ensemble) Gwendolyn is new to Summer Place Theatre, and she is so excited to be doing this show. She's a sophomore at Downers Grove South High School and is part of cheer, choir, band, marching band, and theater in school. She has done school productions such as Matilda Jr, Super Happy Awesome News, Frozen Jr, and Mamma Mia. She has always loved theater and music has always been a part of her life. She wants to give a huge thanks to her parents for introducing her to live theater at such a young age. She is proud to be a part of this amazing production and hopes to return soon! Delainey Guiney (Henrietta, Ensemble/Miss Sandra (U/S)) Delainey Guiney is currently a rising Junior at Illinois Wesleyan University pursuing a BFA in Music Theatre. This is Delainey's first production with Summer Place Theatre and is super excited to be a part of such a fun and creative show! Special thanks to friends, family, cast, and creative team for making this possible! Jeff Harding (Jim Haller) Jeff is excited to Follow That Dream and reprise the role of Jim after playing him a couple of years ago. He is happy to be returning to Summer Place Theatre after performing in the Pajama Game last summer. He would like to thank his mom for introducing him to Elvis and his music. He just Can't Help Falling in Love with the music over and over. And as always, a huge thanks to Monica for allowing him the chance to pursue his Burning Love of theater. Mark Hasselo (Ensemble) Mark Hasselo began his love for acting in 2008. He is returning to Summer Place Theatre after a five-year absence. Mark has previously performed in Jesus Christ Superstar, Oklahoma, Seussical, Anything Goes, South Pacific, Grease, Bye Bye Birdie, and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Mark is a film buff and an Elvis fan extraordinaire. According to Mark, “We all have a place in this world. We share the same stage.” Nina Iraci-McMahon (Natalie/Ed) Nina Iraci-McMahon is originally from New Lenox, IL and is a practicing speech-language pathologist. Prior to All Shook Up, Nina has been seen on the stage as a featured dancer and ensemble member in Footloose, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and Rocky Horror Picture Show. Most recently, she played Flotsam in The Little Mermaid. She is immensely grateful to be on the Summer Place stage for the first time with an extremely talented cast and crew, and wants to thank her husband, friends, and family for their never-ending love and support as she continues her theater journey. She hopes the audience really enjoys the magic in the music, the laughin', and the fallin' in love... Leslie Kane (Ensemble/Natalie (U/S)) Leslie is thrilled to be joining Summer Place Theatre for the first time in one of her all-time favorite productions! Previous roles include Adelaide (Guys and Dolls), Cassie (Rumors) and Suzanne (Figaro). She would like to thank her incredible husband for being the best line runner, dance partner, and cook these last 10 weeks. Lastly, she wants to extend a big “thank you” to the audience, for your continued support of the arts. Enjoy the show! Joseph Lord (Ensemble) Joey is exhilarated to participate in All Shook Up as a member of the ensemble. This is his second time acting in a show, and his first time with Summer Place. He has recently switched his major from sculpture to theatre and is having a blast exploring the different aspects that go into a live production. He would like to thank his friends and professors at Joliet Junior College for introducing him to theater and his family for the unyielding support that he is given. Sean Lynch (Ensemble) Sean Lynch is very excited to be returning in his second show with summer place. He was last seen as Snyder in Newsies last summer. When not trying out for shows and performing in theater Sean works with dementia residents as an activity aide at Meadowbrook Manor in Naperville. Miles Kolby Meador (Assistant Director/Warden/Ensemble/Chad (U/S)) Miles Kolby Meador hails from the small town of Oreana, IL. Currently residing in Manteno, he graduated from Olivet-Nazarene University with a degree in film studies and a theatre minor. Over 20+ years he has performed on stage and screen, most recently spending several years working Chicago's stand-up comedy circuit. Recent credits include Eddie/Dr. Scott (The Rocky Horror Show), James Ryder (Sherlock Holmes), Mortimer Brewster (Arsenic and Old Lace) and Grimsby (The Little Mermaid). Upcoming performances include Vlad Popov in Anastasia. He wishes to thank his friends and family who have continued to support him in his pursuit of the arts and the entire production team behind this show. He hopes that you will enjoy the show and remember to "Follow That Dream!" Geon Ruffin (Chad) Geon is thrilled to be back on stage performing in his favorite genre of musical. He was previously seen as Danny Zuko in Grease, Link Larkin in Hairspray, and Bernardo in West Side Story. Geon’s legs and pelvis are always in gear!! He’d like to give a shout-out to his beautiful fiancée for never missing a single show and the rest of his family for their love and support. He hopes the audience is ready to ROCK and enjoy the show!! Kim Schomer (Ensemble) Kim Schomer is a universal banker from Oswego. She is a cantor and choir member at St. Anne Catholic Church in Oswego. She sang at Carnegie Hall under the direction of John Rutter. This is her first show with Summer Place but certainly not her first show. Her favorite character she has played has to be Juror #2 in 12 Angry Jurors. Fun fact: this is the 2nd time she's been in All Shook Up. Dave Scriven-Young (Sheriff Earl) Dave Scriven-Young is immensely grateful to be making his Summer Place debut with this outstanding cast. Always looking for compelling characters to portray, he has appeared as Miss Trunchbull in Matilda, the Stepmother in Into the Woods, and most recently as Aide Williams in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. He trains in dance with Jeanne O’Connell, voice with Alvaro Ramirez, and acting with Acting Studio Chicago. Much love to Kathy, Henry, Charlie, and all friends and family who came out to support this show! IG: @attorneydsy Tina St. Angelo Wetzel (Ensemble) All Shook Up is Tina's 9th show with SPT. Tina's first SPT show was My Fair Lady in 1973 under the direction of founder Don (Doc) Shanower. In 2022, Tina was in The Sound of Music as Frau Schmidt at SPT. Last November, Tina reprised Frau Schmidt at Guardian Angels in LaGrange. Other roles are Mrs. Corry in Mary Poppins, a Pick A Little Lady in The Music Man (SPT), Agatha in Guys and Dolls (SPT), Sister Berthe in the first production of Sound of Music at SPT. Tina is thrilled to be working with some Sound of Music castmates and being directed again by Jorge Bermundez. A huge thank you to the creative team and this cast. Jake Tedeschi (Ensemble/Dennis, Dean (U/S)) Jake is extremely proud to be a part of this production of All Shook Up. Some of his credits include Bert Berry in 42nd Street, Jacob in Joseph…, and Clayton in Tarzan. Most recently he portrayed Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid. When not performing on stage, he works as a Physical Education and Math teacher for elementary and junior high students. He shares his passion for music and the stage with his students, by helping them put on shows and working as a combo director for show choirs. He is grateful for the opportunity to perform with the amazing cast of All Shook Up and thanks his family and friends for supporting him throughout all his aspirations. Enjoy the show! Jake Teeling (Dennis) Jake Teeling is very excited to be making his Summer Place debut in this dream role! Recent credits include Toad in A Year with Frog and Toad and Horton in Seussical, Leaf Coneybear in 25th...Spelling Bee, Dance Ensemble in Urinetown, and Beadle Bamford in Sweeney Todd. When not performing, Jake works at the Paramount Theatre in downtown Aurora. He would like to thank his siblings, Matt, Carly, and Lily, for all their support. Taylor Weisz (Sylvia/Co-Producer/Props Designer/Stage Movement & Intimacy Coordinator) Taylor is very excited to be back for another season at Summer Place. She is wearing multiple hats this year, but is very honored to bring Sylvia to life on stage. Her most recent credits include Sebastian in The Little Mermaid, Gladys in The Pajama Game, and many more. Taylor was going to put a show pun in her bio, but figured there were too many others doing that. That’s All Right with her! IG: TaylorMitchelle Sadie Wynne (Mayor Matilda) Sadie Wynne happily returns to the SPT stage after playing Mother Abbess in their 2022 production of The Sound of Music. This show also marks her second appearance on stage with her daughter, CeCi! Other credits include A Little Night Music, Into the Woods, Company, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, The Christmas Schooner, and Annie. Lots of love to her daughters CeCi and Veronica and her husband Danny! CeCi Wynne (Ensemble) CeCi Wynne is thrilled to return to SPT in the ensemble of All Shook Up! The past few years she has performed with SPT in The Sound of Music, and Newsies! She just finished her Junior year at Plainfield East High School, where this past year she appeared as Flora in Dracula and as Betsy Foster in Tuck Everlasting. CeCi also sings in Head Table for PEHS Madrigals and with Young Naperville Singers, with whom she has sung at Carnegie Hall, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and Washington, DC. She is glad to share One Night with You and hopes you Can’t Help Falling in Love with this show! Production Staff Jorge Bermudez (Director)Third time’s the charm! Jorge is thrilled to return to Summer Place Theater after previously directing our productions of South Pacific (2019) and The Sound of Music (2022). He received an MFA in Theatre Pedagogy - Performance from Virginia Commonwealth University. During his time there, he had the incredible opportunity to teach acting and directing at the undergraduate level, participate in a pre-Broadway musical workshop (Amazing Grace), and perform as Edna in their production of Hairspray. Other selected directing credits include A Chorus Line, West Side Story, Miss Saigon, Chess, Jesus Christ Superstar, and the play Memory of Water. A huge thank you to all friends and family for coming to support me, this show and the arts - “Time makes you bolder. Even children get older…” Ali Kordelewski (Music Director) Ali is so excited to be back at Summer Place to Music Direct for All Shook Up! Last summer, she vocal directed for Newsies with Summer Place, and previously has music directed for summer productions at North Central College including Disney's The Little Mermaid, The Music Man, and Peter Pan. Ali is a graduate from North Central College with a BA in Music Education and a Theatre Endorsement. She also earned her Masters in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music. Ali teaches choir at Plainfield East High School and directs the madrigals and spring musicals, most recently Shrek and Tuck Everlasting. She also teaches classes at Children's Theatre of Western Springs. Ali is so thankful for her wonderful support of family and friends, for this amazing cast and team who have worked on this show, and her partner in crime (and rehearsal accompanist) Kristi! She "can't help falling in love" with this fun show and hope you do too! Kailey Krigas (Co-Choreographer.) Kailey has had a blast getting to work with this cast of All Shook Up as a choreographer! Kailey started her musical career in various shows throughout her childhood. During her time at Cary-Grove High School she played a bird girl in Seussical the Musical (2018), Miss Sandra in All Shook Up (2019), Janet Van De Graaf in The Drowsy Chaperone (2020), and Cassie in A Chorus Line (2021). Kailey is currently a student at the University of Iowa pursuing a career in chemistry and science secondary education. This summer she has been enjoying teaching dance at her local studio, CGPAC. Kailey spreads thanks to Jorge for giving her this opportunity and her mom for always being a choreographer inspiration. She hopes you enjoy the show! Jeanne O’Connell (Co-Choreographer) Jeanne O’Connell began her professional career as a performer, being seen in Broadway shows, Disneyland productions, television shows and commercials. Now, she is a sought-after choreographer as well as dance teacher and coach. Ms. OConnell has choreographed for professional theatres, dance companies, and competitive teams. Locally, she choreographs for a variety of theatres including Magical Starlight Theatre (Beauty and the Beast, Matilda, Mary Poppins), Naperville Central High School (Legally Blonde, Chicago, Footloose), and Lisle High School (Music Man, Sister Act). Jeanne began choreographing for Summer Place Theatre last year with Newsies and she is delighted to return this summer for All Shook Up. Mike Frale (Scenic/Program Designer) Mike is thrilled to be returning to Summer Place Theatre for his second season after directing their production of Newsies last year. He is a graduate of Lewis University. Select directing credits include The Little Mermaid (Spotlight Arts Collective), Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella (Theatre 121), This Is Our Youth (Riverfront Playhouse) and The Guys (Heritage Theatre Company). Some acting credits include Ted in Peter and the Starcatcher and Peter in Company (both with Wheaton Drama). She costumed last year's production of Newsies, and just recently finished costuming a production of Legally Blonde. Kathy earned a degree in Musical Theatre at North Central College, where she also worked as a scenic designer (The Producers, Annie, Music Man) and costume designer (Addams Family). She has also worked with Magical Starlight Theater and costumed their production of The Little Mermaid. Kathy would like to thank her friends and family who are always so supportive of her artistic endeavors. Bill Ryden (Sound Designer) Bill is back for his third season with SPT. His passion is to pursue the perfect sounding show. As a sound designer he is fond of saying, "If you don't notice me, I've done my job." Enjoy the show. Madalyn Quitter (Stage Manager) Madalyn is very excited to be back for her second season with Summer Place.
