Mr. Hildebrand received his BFA in Theatre at Illinois Wesleyan University and his MFA in Directing at the University of Southern California, where he worked as personal assistant to John Houseman. He has directed more than 75 plays and choreographed 50 of them. Last year, he directed the Chicago Premiere of “The Mystery of Edwin Drood” and “Man of La Mancha” at the Ad Hoc Theatre in Lisle. RANDY CERQUA (Musical Director). Randy has been active most recently at the Ad Hoc Theatre, having been musical director for “A Chorus Line”, “West Side Story”, “The Mystery of Edwin Drood”, and “Man of La Mancha”. He also made his onstage debut at Ad Hoc in the 1986 production of “A Christmas Medley”. His most recent stage appearance was the part of Herb Rosen in “Working”. KELLY PRYBYCIEN (Choreographer). Kelly is a teacher of dance and most recently was seen on stage at Pheasant Run Dinner Theatre in St. Charles in a musical revue. She will appear this fall in the Marriott-Lincolnshire production of “West Side Story”. SANDY STEVENSON (Rehearsal Pianist). Sandy is an elementary music teacher in St. Charles and has been musical director for such shows as “Working”, “Pippin”, and “Ain’t Misbehavin’”. She also performed in “Comic Rhythms” at Pheasant Run Dinner Theatre in St. Charles. ABOUT THE CAST DEANNA BOYD (Eva). Deanna makes her debut on The Summer Place stage in this production. Deanna resides in Chicago and is a graduate of Western Michigan University. She performed the role of Eva at the Mountain View Theatre in Dallas, Texas. She has also been seen in “Robber Bridegroom”, “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas”, “All My Sons”, “Working”, and “Quilters”. DAVID COTTINGHAM (Juan Peron). David is also a resident of Chicago and comes to The Summer Place for the first time this summer. He has most recently appeared at the Prologue Theatre in “Three Penny Opera”. Last fall, theatergoers in the western suburbs saw him as Durdles in the Chicago premiere of “The Mystery of Edwin Drood” at the Ad Hoc Theatre in Lisle. He is a professional singer in Chicago, works for Allstate Life Insurance, and has done lots of Gilbert and Sullivan and lots of opera! MARK DUEBNER (Che Guevara). This is Mark’s first appearance at The Summer Place. Most recently he has appeared with the Tempo players in “The Music Man”, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”, and “South Pacific”. Mark has done set design and art direction for Tempo Players and Wheaton Drama. He is also a member of the board of directors of Tempo Players. TOM COX (Magaldi). Most recently, Tom was seen on the Ad Hoc stage in “Working” and “A Chorus Line”. At the Summer Place, he appeared in “Arsenic and Old Lace” as Officer Brophy. Tom has also appeared in many productions of Before Broadway Players in Glen Ellyn. Tom will enter graduate school at Northern Illinois University this fall. HEATHER MORRIS (Peron’s Mistress). Heather was last seen on The Summer Place stage in “A Little Night Music” last summer. Previously, theatergoers saw her as Peppermint Patty in the Summer Place production of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”. Heather will be a junior at Syracuse University where she is majoring in musical theatre. This fall, she will study for a semester in London. JOLINE BOCHMANN (Ensemble). Joline is a music teacher at Ranchview School in Naperville. At The Summer Place she has appeared in “On Golden Pond”, “Hello, Dolly”, and “Pajama Game”. BRUCE CUTTER (Ensemble). Bruce is a student at Columbia College in Chicago. He has appeared as a dancer and chorus member in such shows as “Oklahoma!”, “Guys and Dolls”, “Anything Goes”, and “The Wiz”. BEN DACUS (Ensemble). Ben is a graphic designer and previously has appeared in such shows as “Fiddler on the Roof” and “Pippin”. SHERI DAVIS (Ensemble). Sheri just completed a stint as the musical director of the Summer Place production of “My Emperor’s New Clothes”. Last summer she appeared as Charlotte in “A Little Night Music”. DONNA GREER (Ensemble). Donna has just returned to the Chicago area from Tucson, Arizona, where she performed at Old Tucson as a “saloon girl”. She has also appeared in “The Mystery of Edwin Drood” and “Follies”, to name a few. ELIZABETH HILL (Ensemble). Beth will be a senior at Naperville North High School where she appeared in the chorus of “West Side Story” this past spring. Beth is one of three Hills appearing in “EVITA”. HEATHER HILL (Ensemble). Heather is a fifth grade student at Prairie School in Naperville. She appeared in a musical variety show there last year. MAURICE HILL (Ensemble). Maurice was previously a member of Fred Waring’s Pennsylvanians. He is a private instructor of voice and wind and percussion instruments. He has appeared in such shows as “Brigadoon”, “Of Thee I Sing”, and “Amahl and the Night Visitors”. MARY SUSAN KUHN (Ensemble). The first show Mary ever performed in was at The Summer Place when she appeared in “The Emperor’s New Clothes” several years ago! She has also appeared in “The Sound of Music”, “Godspell”, and “Charlie’s Aunt”, to name a few. MATT KULZICK (Ensemble). Most recently, Matt appeared in “Brigadoon” for Tempo Players. He is a resident of Warrenville and is a research chemist for Amoco in Naperville. DIANE LADLEY (Ensemble). Last summer, Diane appeared in “The King and I” as one of the King’s wives. She has also appeared here in “Fiddler on the Roof” and “Once Upon a Mattress”. Diane works for an advertising agency in Naperville. NORMA LADLEY (Ensemble). Norma is on the board of directors of The Summer Place and appeared here in “Hello, Dolly!”. JOHN LOWERY (Ensemble). Earlier this summer, Summer Place theatergoers saw John as Fleet Foot in “Little Mary Sunshine”. Last summer he appeared in “The King and I”. DENISE MARSALA (Ensemble). Most recently, theatergoers in the western suburbs saw Denise as Aldonza in “The Man of La Mancha” at the Ad Hoc. She also appeared in “Working” and “The Mystery of Edwin Drood”. MARK MAVETZ (Ensemble). Last summer, Mark appeared at The Summer Place as Henrik in “A Little Night Music”. Previously he appeared on our stage in “Arsenic and Old Lace”. SUSAN MCWILLIAMS (Ensemble). This is Susan’s first appearance at The Summer Place. Previously she has appeared in many shows in Texas and California. She was also in the movie, “Liar’s Moon”, which starred Matt Dillon. ROL MOZINGO (Ensemble). Rol was seen last spring in the Ad Hoc production of “Man of La Mancha”. Earlier this year he directed the Community Players production of “Snoopy”. JIM SHIMER (Ensemble). Jim resides in Glen Ellyn and has appeared in such shows as “Arsenic and Old Lace”, “Two By Two”, and “Man of La Mancha”. Jim is Executive Director of the Illinois Independent Living Center in Naperville. KRIS STONE (Ensemble). Kris just finished appearing in The Summer Place production of “My Emperor’s New Clothes”. Last spring she appeared in the Ad Hoc production of “Man of La Mancha”. Kris will be a junior at Benet Academy. MICHAEL SULLIVAN (Ensemble). Mike just appeared in The Summer Place production of “My Emperor’s New Clothes”. He has also appeared in “The Sound of Music” and “The Nutcracker”. Mike is a seventh grade student at St. Mary School in Downers Grove.
