He has appeared as Che in EVITA and Frederick in THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE. The past two seasons, Mark also made his directing debut at Tempo Players this Spring directing ONCE UPON A MATTRESS. Mark is very involved with Tempo Players and has also done extensive scene design for various companies in the area. Patrick Farbo Jr.: Patrick was seen last Summer at Summer Place in DO PATENT LEATHER SHOES REALLY REFLECT UP?. Patrick is a resident of Chicago and would like to thank his family and friends for always being there; always caring; always loving. Diane Ladley: This marks five summers in a row for Diane with Summer Place. She has appeared in THE KING AND I, EVITA, and THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE. Diane has also starred as the lead in SUGAR at Tempo Players. Jan Mahlstedt: Jan is one of the most active members of Summer Place and other local Theatres. As founder of Community Players she has directed MUSIC MAN, YOUR A GOOD MAN CHARLEY BROWN, THE MOUSETRAP, and ARSENIC AND OLD LACE. At Summer Place she played Ruth in THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE last summer, as well as Meg and Lenny in two productions of CRIMES OF THE HEART. She also played Phyllis in Grove Players production of FOLLIES in 1985. Marilyn Maurer: Marilyn just appeared as Lady Larkin in ONCE UPON A MATTRESS at Tempo Players this Spring. She has done several reviews and enjoys the form immensely. This is Marilyn's first production with Summer Place, and is thrilled to be involved with such a dynamic group. She also wishes to thank her husband — a pillar of support at this special time. Roger Place: Roger is another bastion of the Summer Place family. He has appeared in several shows over the past years, especially as the King in THE KING AND I. Roger is also a member of the Board of Directors of Summer Place. He is directing KISMET the closing show of our 1990 season. Cynthia Mena Wroblewski: Cindy is Choral Director at Westmont High School where she has directed GREASE, THE WIZ, and JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR COAT. She also is a concert soloist around the Western Suburbs. She resides in Clarendon Hills, is a mother of two, and is happy to be doing her first show with Summer Place. Randy Cergua: Randy is a VERY busy musical director in the area. He was involved with the first non-Equity production of A CHORUS LINE at Ad Hoc Theatre. He also music directed THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD, MAN OF LAMANCHA, RAGS, and RAPSCALION at Ad Hoc. At Summer Place Randy has music directed EVITA and THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE the last two seasons. Randy has also composed music for several musical shows. Most notably RAPSCALION at Ad Hoc. Michael Hildebrand: This is the third season with Summer Place for Michael. In the past two seasons he has Directed/Choreographed EVITA and THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE. He has also directed THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD, RAGS, and MAN OF LAMANCHA for Ad Hoc Theatre in Lisle. Over the past eighteen years Michael has directed over 85 productions ranging from Musicals to the Classics.
