Helen...Judy Enger and Sue Henning

Judy Enger and Sue Henning will be dividing the chores of the leading role, and are local high-school thespians. Judy is a June graduate of Naperville Community High School, and Sue will begin her senior year in the fall. Both of these talented girls live in Naperville.

Martha...Lucy Karson

Lucy Karson of Naperville is being seen for the first time in the adult theatre of The Summer Place. She has been very active in the past in the Young People’s Theatre.

Percy...Donald Bingle

Donald Bingle is another Naperville Community High School student, and is a member of the “Worker” cast. Donald is making his debut appearance in the role of Percy.

 Aunt Ev...Shari Thomas

Shari Thomas is seen for the first time on our stage, and we welcome her with appreciation. She has had extensive theatre work, and we hope we will see her more often.

James...Curt Howard

Curt Howard, as James, is appearing on our stage for the first time. Curt is from Naperville, and is actively involved in high-school plays.

Anagnos...Ed Carroll

One of our old-timers, Ed Carroll is making his fourth appearance in Summer Place theatre. He is a member of the staff at St. Procopius College, and is very active in theatres throughout the western suburbs.

Annie Sullivan...Bonnie Owens

Bonnie is a girl who gets around, and who has done many things in theatre throughout the Fox Valley area, and we are indeed grateful for her talent. Bonnie is no stranger to The Summer Place. She appeared last season in “South Pacific,” and in November of last year, Bonnie starred as Fanny Brice in the Geneva Playmakers’ production of “Funny Girl.” She just completed a stint of stage-managing in “A Thousand Clowns” for the same group. We welcome Bonnie to “The Miracle Worker,” and thank her for the work she has done for us in this demanding role.

Viney...Linda Quantock

Linda Quantock is from Oswego, and is a senior at North Central College. She has been very active in college productions, and has been totally involved in The Summer Place. Linda was costumer for “South Pacific,” and was a member of the cast of “The Happiest Millionaire” last season.
