Auditions for "Anything Goes" Scheduled!
Summer Place Theatre is thrilled to announce auditions for our final show of the season, Cole Porter's Anything Goes! This big, brash musical is bound to be a whole lot of fun. You're not going to want to miss this chance to sing, dance and hang out with some of the best folk to ever sail theatrically-recreated seas!
Auditions are Sunday, June 4 between 7 PM and 10 PM and Monday, June 5 between 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM.
Performances are July 28 through August 5 - two weekends, 7:30pm Fridays and Saturdays, and 3:00pm Sundays.
Auditions will be held at the Naperville Central High School Community Room, 440 Aurora Ave in Naperville. Enter through door #28 to the left and around the corner from door #27.
Please prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre song that best shows off your voice, preferably in the style of the show. Bring sheet music in the right key for the provided accompanist. Singing with an electronic track or a cappella will not be allowed.
You will also learn and perform a short dance combination.
Rehearsals will be Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays beginning June 12. Please bring any known conflicts to mark on your audition form, or visit our website at www.summerplacetheatre.org to print and fill out your form ahead of time.
Cast members pay $25 for a script and costume fee. It is the only fee.
