Meet Alisha Keane

My Three Angels Spotlight

Thrilled to be using my theatre wings. Happy to be treading the boards with such a lovely and talented cast, crew and director!

We asked Alisha a few questions about her background and interest in this show

Q:  Who or what inspired you to start doing theater?

A: Theatre began with an obsession with language. The formation and foundation of Shakespeare to classic 30s and 40s stage comedy reparte; I just always wanted to sound that sharp and sophisticated.

Q: What was the first play you remember seeing.

A: For me, it was more the Disney universe as a child - I adored the the world Walt created! The first live stage play I saw was one I actually acted in called "The 13 Clocks". My mother sent me along to an audition, thinking I'd fail and get over pestering her about going. To her chagrin, I got cast!

Q: What is the favorite role you've ever played?

A:  Anything with guts and gusto and a connection to the audience. Recently enjoyed playing Widow Corney in "Oliver!" at TCC Theatre company in Terryville CT.

Q:  What is the dream role you still want to play?

A:  Long to tackle a Shakespeare lead

Q:  Most challenging part of bringing this story to life?

A:  Finding her voice; she needs to be believable, comedic, pompous and slightly villainous - all conveyed in less than 10 minutes on stage!

Q:  Do you have any performance superstitions?

A:  The Scottish play shall not be mentioned

Q:   If someone was going to make your life into a movie, who would you want to play you?

A:   Sandra Bullock

Q:  What do you do when you’re not doing theater?

A:   Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church of Warrenville

Q:  Which character from M3A would most like to have dinner with and why?

A:  The salesman - I love a good-hearted con!

Q:  Why should people come see this production of M3A?

A;  To see how ordinary people can make extraordinary choices when placed in certain circumstances. And to ask themselves, where exactly is that line between right and wrong...
