Summer Place Theatre Announces Cast and Creative Teams for 60th Season
Summer Place Theatre has announced the cast and creative teams for its 60th Anniversary Season, featuring Guys and Dolls and Rent at Naperville Central High School.
Naperville’s community theatre since 1966, Summer Place Theatre will open its milestone season in June with Guys and Dolls, followed by Jonathan Larson’s Rent in July and August. Both productions will bring together local performers, musicians, designers, technicians, crew members, and volunteers as Summer Place continues its long tradition of live community theatre in Naperville.
Guys and Dolls
Summer Place Theatre’s 2026 season opens with Guys and Dolls, running June 19–28 at Naperville Central High School.
One of Broadway’s most beloved musical comedies, Guys and Dolls features classic songs including “Luck Be a Lady,” “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat,” “I’ve Never Been in Love Before,” and “Adelaide’s Lament.” The show follows gamblers, nightclub performers, mission workers, and larger-than-life New York characters in a musical comedy full of romance, humor, and heart.
The Summer Place Theatre production of Guys and Dolls is directed and choreographed by Julia Cooke, with music direction by Ali Kordelewski. The production team includes Matt Whalen as producer, Adam Milne as production manager, Madalyn Quitter as stage manager, Bre Sakalis as assistant stage manager, Ian Blinstrup as scenic designer/master carpenter, Lexi Grueneberg as sound designer, Brighton Liese as lighting designer, and Jake Ganzer as costume/props designer.

Brannigan, Tina St. Angelo as General Cartwright, Julie Abud as Scranton Slim/Master of Ceremonies, Nicholas Baumgartner as Brandy Bottle Bates/Waiter, Ryan Castiglia as Liver Lips Louie, Addison Crum as Angie the Ox/Cindy, George Li as Society Max, Katie Baumgartner as Ralphie the Rat, Grace De Luna as Vernon/Lead Havana Dancer, Sarah Hunt as Georgia/Martha, Hannah Nauman as Ferguson, Diana Pantoja as Allison/Helen, Kathy Wilhelm as Mimi/Dance Captain, Sean Lynch as Calvin, Rachel Pusateri as Agatha/Sarah understudy, and Stephan Odoi as Rusty Charlie.

Summer Place Theatre’s 60th season continues with Jonathan Larson’s Rent, running July 17–August 2 at Naperville Central High School.
Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Musical, Rent is one of the landmark musicals of the modern era. Set in New York City’s East Village, the show follows a group of young artists and friends navigating love, creativity, loss, illness, chosen family, and the urgency of living fully in the time they have.
Summer Place Theatre’s production of Rent is directed and choreographed by Bianca Pietro, with music direction by Audrey Brynda and vocal direction by Amy Jackson. The production team includes Taylor Weisz as producer, Adam Milne as production manager, Bre Sakalis as stage manager, Ian Blinstrup as scenic designer/master carpenter, Lexi Grueneberg as sound designer, Jake Ganzer as costume and prop designer, and Brighton Liese as lighting designer.
The cast features Nicholas Morea as Roger Davis, Austin Hendricks as Mark Cohen, Eliseo Martinez as Tom Collins, Garrett Medlock as Benjamin Coffin III, Brooke Tompulis as Joanne Jefferson, Ramsey Hendricks as Angel Dumott Schunard, Sofia Herrera as Mimi Marquez, and Hannah Gleason as Maureen Johnson.
The company also includes Makenna Case, Angelo J. Bravos, Devin Koshay, Jamie Kwon, Shannon Piper, Erika Dampier, Marcus Fawer, Maria Purpura, Lisa Liace, Sarina Knudtson, Onora Kirpanos, Adam Sakleh, Fiona Guzniczak, Ethan Mesina, and Sarah Sisay.

Tickets for Summer Place Theatre’s 2026 season are available now. Single tickets are $25 for adults and $22 for students and seniors. Season tickets are also available for audiences who want to see both Guys and Dolls and Rent during Summer Place Theatre’s 60th season.
