We asked Amy a few questions about herself.
Q: Who or what inspired you to start doing theater?
A: I was involved in a summer camp when I was 7 and insisted that I would be in the theatre class, and I've been obsessed ever since.
Q: What was the musical that had you fall in love with musicals?
A: After my very first show, Annie Warbucks, I remember sobbing on my couch because it had ended and I was worried that I wouldn't get the chance to perform again or see my castmates again.
Q: What is the favorite role you've ever played?
A: Annie Oakley.
Q: What is the dream role you still want to play?
A: I've still always wanted to be Elle Woods.
Q: Most challenging part of bringing this story to life?
A: Coming off of two straight plays at school, it was quite a jump to a show that is mostly in song.
Q: If someone was going to make your life into a movie, who would you want to play you?
A: Brie Larson, of course!
Q: What do you do when you’re not doing theater?
A: I like to spend time with my family and friends, running, and I'm a huge Star Wars and MCU fan!
Q: If you were stranded on an island, which character from Mamma Mia would you want to have with you and why?
A: Probably Bill, with his adventurus spirit I think he would be the most helpful in survival and would help make the most of the experience.
Q: Why should people come see this production of Mamma Mia?
A: People should come see Mamma Mia to see how much fun we've had so far this summer!
